From Vegas 2006
Back from our Las Vegas trip. We stayed at the Flamingo hotel. The location was great, but wifey was not impressed with the room. It was filthy. The bathroom had mold, and there was alot of food under the bed. We complained and got a bigger and better room the following day, but there was still french fries under the bed.

The above picture was taken of the strip from an overpass across from our hotel.
I placed the camera on a wall (to act as a tripod) and set the exposure to 3 seconds to create the streaming of the headlights.

I found that the best time to take pictures was at night or even better..at dusk.
A great place to shoot is at the top of the Eiffel tower. It is not free and costs $9.

I forgot to take my flash, and my camera (canon 5D) has no built in flash. So, at night or indoors i found that i was cranking up the ISO of my camera to increase its sensitivity to light. The picture of the pumpkins (below) was taken indoors with ISO set to its highest level 1600.

The NewYork New York hotel was pretty cool. We took a ride on the roller coaster . $25.

The Bellagio hotel was beautiful inside and outside. Inside there was a beautiful display of pumpkins and flowers....a photographers heaven! The Bellagio conservatory and botanical gardens.
